چکیده
Good health and well-being are primary goals within the list of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by United Nations (UN) in 2015. New technologies, such as Internet Things (IoT) Cloud Computing, can aid to achieve that goal enabling people improve their lifestyles have a more healthy comfortable life. Pollution monitoring is especially important order avoid exposure fine particles control impact human activity on natural environment. Some sources hazardous gas emissions be found indoors. For instance, carbon monoxide (CO), which considered silent killer because it cause death, emitted water heaters rely fossil fuels. Existing solutions for indoor pollution suffer from some drawbacks make implementation impossible households with limited financial resources. This paper presents development IdeAir, low-cost IoT-based air quality system aims reduce disadvantages existing systems. IdeAir was designed proof concept capture determine concentrations harmful gases environments and, depending concentration levels, issue alarms notifications, turn fan, and/or open door. It has been developed following Test-Driven Methodology Systems (TDDM4IoTS), which, together tool (based this methodology) used automation systems, facilitated work developers. Preliminary results functioning show high level acceptance potential users.
